About the Department
The Department of Kinetics of Crystallization of Diamond and Cubic Boron Nitride Single Crystals at Ultrahigh Pressures was established in 1986 on the basis of a research group studying phase transformations in multicomponent systems at high pressures.
Scientific directions and tasks
Study of the regularities of growing structurally perfect single crystals of diamond and cubic boron nitride with an applied defect-impurity composition in the region of thermodynamic equilibrium and study of their properties.
